Anime reccomendation thread

Hmm, I don't see an anime thread on here, let's change that >:3 (if only because I've been slacking on actually watching stuff on account of vague gesturing towards the streaming landscape and I need accountability). My watchlist is too long covering just stuff that I vaguely remember from internet ...

Re: Linux Appreciation Station

I was considering Debian initially, but the general gist I got last time I looked was "It's the better option when you know what you want/need". The one sore spot is KDE Plasma (not only is it the default recommendation to windows refugees but I'm already familiar due to the steam deck) bu...

Re: Linux Appreciation Station

Proud to say I'm about to make the jump, been meaning to for a while but the hassle of cleaning and backing up my bootdrive was greater than dealing with a slowly deteriorating windows install. WAS Anyway any of y'all wanna induct me into your cult share your favorite distro before I settle on Mint?...

Re: OpenTTD Font Update

Don't really think its a problem for Cosmogelica like it is in OpenTTD, what's noteworthy about the game is that they have the double whammy of having both pixelated and small font size, which works well on small, low resolution CRTs that need to contain a lot of info but is far less ideal on modern...

OpenTTD Font Update

Yes really, as a part of the version 14 beta they did a dev diary on the process of updating the classic fonts here. Just cool to see the the lengths they went through to retain the look methinks and it's gonna be sick playing with a font that doesn't strain the eyes :neofox__w_:

Re: Old shool racers

Alright, after giving Ridge Racer Type 4 a proper shot without the buzz of a convention surrounding me I must say I'm quite impressed. I think the last time I felt akin to this was with Horizon Chase Turbo where you can tell the focus was on fun racing first and foremost. The circuits are decently v...

Re: Retro Achievements

There, finally got most of the emulator stuff worked out (haven't tested 'em all yet but so far things seems to just work) and the account is tracking my progress. Wish it had Wii U support because I've been struggling to find the motivation to finish Xenoblade Chronicles X but I suppose the same co...

Re: Dyson Sphere Program

Man I can imagine, reminds me of an early build of Autonauts I played some time ago. You start off with basically nothing, collecting sticks and stones to make tools to collect resources faster etc. The twist is that from a pretty early stage you have the ability to create robots, so you program tho...

Re: Dyson Sphere Program

Haven't seen it before, looks rad and I now have a sudden urge to consume luminous blue cubes. And you says it spans several planets? Feels like that could make things both easier and harder to organize x3

Re: Retro Achievements

Remember making an account waaaaay back when I first installed EmuDeck but since I've procrastinated on setting up the emulators so there is little to be seen there, guess I should bite the bullet and just spend an evening getting it running :neofox_flop:
