Re: Atari Jaguar

I think it's cool that it uses fully custom processors, because that seems very rare across consoles. Usually at the most they're customized a bit (as in the Virtual Boy and GameCube) and the only other example I know of is SuperFX, or companies using the same processors they're also selling to othe...

Re: Exploring

I live pretty close to downtown in a city, so my exploration is a bit different than it would be in a rural place, but I have fun with it and there's enough variety that it doesn't get boring to just walk or bike in random directions (or even just go on streets I don't normally take) and see what I ...

Re: Trip World

I got the plush and a cart of the DX version, which I dumped. I actually never got around to really giving Trip World a serious try until now, so it'll be nice to do it in color!

Re: Waiting for a Godot thread

I've been wanting to try Godot since it's really cool to have an engine that's open source (which is important to me since I want to feel like I'm actually in control of the tools I use) but I haven't had a project that feels like it calls for it just yet. If I'm just making a 2D sprite game I'll ge...

Re: Nova the Squirrel 2

I feel like it's a given that I'd eventually do a 3, but I'd have to develop 2 a lot more to figure out how I'd want to build on it. As-is any cool ideas I get (that the SNES can do) can just go into 2.

Re: Old shool racers

I played a bunch of LEGO Racers and Crash Team Racing as a kid, and those were the racing games I really had since I didn't actually own Mario Kart. I really enjoyed the kart building aspects of LEGO Racers and it was actually really cool to me as a kid to have some sort of 3D LEGO building tool in ...

Re: What are you doing this new year?

I watched New Years events on both Second Life and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and I had carbonated grape juice once midnight hit, and then I watched Steamboat Willie for the first time.

Re: Jumping Flash!

When I played the sequel soon after the original game, it felt like the sequel was just overall better but I might have been telling myself that because of the minor physics changes (and because it is a sequel). But when I replay the original I'm not left feeling like I'm playing the worse game, so ...
