Re: Warframe

MOAs have been around since Warframe's early years when the Corpus got introduced. But yeah, the big Fortuna update from a long while back gave us the ability to put one together as a pet!

Re: Earthbound/MOTHER series

I still remember seeing Earthbound (SNES) for the first time in 1998 on my friend's PC, emulated in ZSNES. The emulation scene was budding and quickly blossoming into a cool community on early web forums and IRC rooms. The game was so weird to me at the time because it presented as an RPG, but it wa...

Re: WordPad Appreciation Thread

I used to use Wordpad for all sorts of stuff as a kid when planning games with friends. Nowadays, I just use Notepad and keep things really minimalistic outside of ASCII decorations I might add to a text file.

Re: TTRPGS

I'm right now in a couple of different 5e games, but I'm not terribly excited to be in either of them. One's ran by somebody who seems like they're kinda going off the deep end and turning it into a political intrigue with a lot of forced interactions and decisions. The other's become too "adul...

Re: Final Fantasy

I think a lot of people can agree that the GBA versions of FF I II IV V and VI are good, except for the music lmao I played this romhack of the SNES version of FFVI and it was cool. I remember enjoying the PSP version of FF1, I assume FF2 was cool too. The PSP version of FF1 had a lot of extra cont...

Re: Warframe

Maybe one day I'll get back into it when I got a wild hair up my ass and feel adventurous. I got burned out because of content oversaturation with the game, which... to my knowledge, has only gotten more dense in the years I've spent away from the game. It's a shame too cause I put a lot of love and...

Re: MiniDisc

I wanted to get into them much later on as a replacement to the size factor of full sized CD players (with all of their lousy so-called skip protections that did nothing half the time), but alas. It came and went so fast that it never crept down in price after the market for it fell through to MP3 p...

Re: I got a TV antenna in 2023

it depends on the TV itself. HD TVs usually have that sort of thing built in. The antenna doesn't usually have a digital converter built in. Antennas advertising themselves as digital-ready might be referring to them being UHF instead of VHF, which simply means they can receive frequencies within th...
