i forget the inspiration at this point, tbh
it's actually a song i first wrote in 2013 that i ended up repurposing! here's the original

it's a certified banger tbh, the repurposing especially really digs into the groove !! perfect thing to keep on loop for a cruiser level leading into a big and important conflict

The drawings are really amazing, and the SMB3 mockups really fit well with the artstyle of the original game. You're a really great artist :3
Also the song you made is pretty good too, sounds like the main theme of an action RPG.

I'd like to echo the above sentiment about the SMB3 sprites, and also compliment your art style, especially the crisp quality of the coloring/shading in your sona icons. The song is very cool, too, with those square waves reminding me of several tracks from Thunder Force IV.
