Thought of the day: RIP ROMhacking.net, which just ended new submissions and went readonly except for news. I'm grateful I was able to make use of it to get some of the most well-known works of my life thus far out there.

Thought of the day: The tricky part about hearing new music is that I have to hear the piece of music multiple different times for me to be able to memorize how it actually sounds in the long run.

So whenever I get up from a dream where my brain just, on the spot, makes up really cool music that doesn't already exist, I have to write down the notes of the melody so that I can preserve it in the long run at all. I guess I could just hum into the nearest microphone and record that to make it a bit easier, but I've always had the heebie-jeebies recording my voice on my own.

Thought of the day: If vblank and hblank are so good then why is there no dblank (diagonal blank)

bblank (backwards blank) and udblank (upside down blank)
then the iblank (inverted blank)

Thought of the day: People who dye their hair green/blue/purple/pink/etc. can be so cool.

Made up for by how the electron gun would be moving diagonally during hblank and vblank, I guess.
