Its been a cool experience so far! I went and joined a few others when I first signed up here to get a better feel for what it was like again.

Regarding some recent masto foxposting, A community zone for our type of furry discussion wouldn't be such a bad idea. kind of a "plant them and they will come" type of thing.

🦊Yea, I was just like "I'm tired of social media I'm gonna make a forum" and just kinda threw in some categories and figured we'd figure it out along the way lmao

Perhaps a games board would be a good idea! A loooong time ago on the Pokemon community forum I was deeply involved with a one-sentence add-on game that went on and on and on for hundreds upon hundreds of pages. Its basically telling a story but every post is only able to add one sentence to it and someone else must continue from there. I just remembered it when I found another forum has a whole section for games like that.

Hmm I was never big on forum games, I've seen them more as clutter, though then again I mostly frequented them for new information on upcoming things and user showcases. (defo a subjective view, ye may ignore this sintence)

Group projects would be cool, but time is a concern these days.

its something to do, in its own section. not much of clutter, unless smalltalk and casual socialization is also somehow clutter. Who know, might bring some activity back with something to keep up with...

In my experience it either devolved into complete nonsense or it just turned into one of those counting games where it's just a number for every post, stuff like that.
Smalltalk and casual talk doesn't even come close to that, what?

🦨we've been staying out of this convo because we didn't want to introduce bias, being the owner of the forum, but I don't really know if "one word replies" fits in here. we want to encourage longer more thought out replies and discussion vs something like twitter or discord, where it sounds like that would be better. we actually made it so the profile pane at the right is just tall enough to encourage longer responses without being too tall, because if the reply is too short it ends up just being a small bit of words in an otherwise large box and looks weird
