we dont have a single computer in this house that can run it because of their weird requirements. Ironically if we waited a little longer to build our pc we'd have a ryzen 2600 instead of a 1600 and be cursed by windows. We're thinking about eventually just getting a used lenovo or something that has it on there just so we can continue to test windows builds and also use SAI2. Copilot can spy on all our furry porn drawings and send that data to John Microsoft and he can tell us if it's hot or not
we HAVE seen win11 in person and like, immediately disliked the center start menu icon. it's like they just put it in the center so they could be like "wow see it's new and different!!! buy it now!!!! throw ur pc in the trash!!!!!!!!"
but yea anyways our pc is specced decently enough that we can probably use it for several more years in linux and play a lot of games, until nvidia stops supporting the gtx 1060 of course. the card's still pretty popular on the steam survey though so hopefully they keep it up

I don't think I've actually used Windows 11 besides helping my dad with quick tech support on his laptop. Every time I've gotten the upgrade message on 10, I've just declined, out of not wanting to upgrade too quick in the earlier days, and general disinterest more recently. The whole deal with Copilot and now Recall is just extra insult to the injury. I'm getting tired of the wholly-corporate-owned options for OSes just getting more disgustingly corporate, and might just do my grand return to maining Linux upon 10's death depending on what I end up doing with my computer-touching time in the next year or so.

There's a setting to choose between aligning the task bar to the center or the left. My current computer came with Windows 11 and I don't have any problems with it; everything just works fine, and I don't use any of the new features so the main change from 10 is just that everything looks a little different.

,.we got one of those fullscreen pop-ups too, but it was to tell us that our computer isn't, eligible for win11,
which, okay ! we're fine with ten anyways,
we've messed with it a little, here n there otherwise, on other computers, but,,., eh, nothing's popped out at us as like a must-have,
and the previous-mentioned announcements of, this feature, that feature, certainly never helped matters.,
